Singing Classes

SINGING CLASSES
At Beyond Performing Arts
Singing is definitely a strong point at Beyond and the students get trained technically yet given the space to find their voices and work towards their own goals. Choral work and singing as a group are trained weekly and harmony work is taught from a young age so students train their ears as early as possible.
Our singing teacher Francesca has worked non-stop as a vocalist and has studied The Estill Model. Francesca breaks down the voice and singing styles to her students so they get an understanding of how the voice works, particularly adolescent voices that undergo change and development through the teens.
Beyond offers mentoring and repertoire work to those wanting to audition and pursue a job in the arts.

Singing Instructor
Francesca Lyons
Francesca found her passion for singing and performing at a young age and trained for 3 years at the prestigious Urdang Academy in acting, dancing and singing. Francesca trained over the years in The Estill model and studied anatomy of the voice and how to break down and teach various vocal styles. Francesca studied how to work with adolescent voices and it is her pleasure to coach and teach children how to sing safely yet gain confidence to explore and push their voices.
